VYYPR is a Pacific Northwest Drum & Bass duo formed by Dylan Deri and Dylan Godsey. Blending the aggression of modern bass music with the speed and intensity of drum & bass, the project delivers a sound built around crushing low end, metal-inspired energy, and relentless unpredictability.

 

The duo’s roots trace back to the small town of Sequim, Washington, where they first connected through the local music scene and went on to co-found and promote events under their original brand, Taste Trap. As their individual careers evolved—Godsey gaining traction in the Seattle/Tacoma bass scene through his project PANIOLO and Deri continuing to develop his production craft—the two found common ground in a shared vision: bringing a harder edge to modern drum & bass.

 

Drawing influence from tearout bass music, rock and metal, and high-energy live performance culture, VYYPR creates music designed to keep listeners engaged from start to finish. Their productions are characterized by heavy basslines, aggressive guitar elements, constant stylistic switchups, and an unapologetic commitment to intensity.

 

Beyond the music, VYYPR is building a community around the mantra “Throw Your Fangs Out”—a symbol of power, presence, and living fully in the moment.
